Janie Dee's Beautiful World Cabaret

20 June 2025

Cabaret

All the world’s a stage, let’s protect it.

Two-time Olivier Award-winning West End star Janie Dee (The Motive and the Cue and Follies - National Theatre; Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends - Gielgud Theatre) confronts the climate crisis, and celebrates our beautiful world, through song and spoken word. Unusual and inspiring: this green twist on classic cabaret asks how we can each make a difference in the fight for our planet. Playful, radical, informative, and ultimately hopeful.

Janie has devised, produced and performs this cabaret celebrating nature and the planet, whilst also bringing attention to the threat posed to them by climate change.

Fresh from acclaimed performances at the Edinburgh Fringe, Wenlock Abbey, and London and regional venues, Janie's Beautiful World Cabaret will charm, inform and entertain.

Janie Dee is a multi award-winning British actress, singer, and musical theatre performer, characterised by her extraordinary versatility in acclaimed work on stage, film, television and radio.

Janie's recent theatre credits include Dirty Rotten Scoundrels in Concert (London Palladium), Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends (Gielgud Theatre), The Motive and the Cue and Follies (National Theatre), and Desiree in A Little Night Music (Palace Theatre London, Buxton Opera House, Holland Park Opera). She has had acclaimed artistic partnerships with Stephen Sondheim, Alan Ayckbourn, Harold Pinter, and Peter Hall. Recent TV credits include You and Me (ITVX) and the pivotal role of Clara Rushton in The Burning Girls (Netflix) which is number 3 in the streaming platform's top 10 dramas.
